Supporting the menopause in women with acupuncture in Stuttgart
The menopause is a natural phase in every woman’s life that is often accompanied by physical and emotional challenges. In my practice for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Stuttgart, I offer treatments with acupuncture and Chinese medicinal therapy with the aim of promoting well-being and alleviating symptoms during this special phase of life.
Various symptoms of the menopause from a TCM perspective
A variety of complaints can occur during the menopause, which are viewed holistically in TCM. Hormonal changes can affect the flow of energy (Qi) and inner balance. Frequently reported symptoms include
- Hot flushes
- Sleep disorders
- Mood swings
- Tiredness
- Joint problems
Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine can be used to release specific energy blockages, harmonize the flow of Qi and promote general well-being.

Additional symptoms that women can experience during the menopause:
- Concentration problems
- Dry skin or mucous membranes
- Nervousness or inner restlessness
- Weight gain
The treatment in my practice is individually tailored to your symptoms in order to specifically address these complaints.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicinal therapy as support during the menopause
The menopause is not a disease, but a natural process. Acupuncture can help to better manage this transition by helping to strengthen the body and promote inner balance. I also use moxibustion (heat therapy) and Chinese herbal therapy to treat menopausal symptoms.
An individual approach for your health
Every woman is unique, and so is every treatment in my practice. With a detailed medical history and pulse and tongue diagnosis, I tailor the acupuncture treatment specifically to your needs. The aim is to promote your quality of life and provide you with optimal support during this phase.
Your advantages:
- Individual therapy approaches: Each treatment is tailored to your specific complaints and needs.
- Holistic approach: TCM views body, mind and soul as a unit.
- Support in everyday life: Acupuncture can help to promote well-being and reduce stress.
Acupuncture and Chinese herbal therapy for menopausal symptoms
In my practice, I combine acupuncture with Chinese herbal therapy. Individually tailored herbal mixtures help to strengthen the body and ease the menopausal transition. The herbs are usually administered in the form of teas. They are particularly good for treating deficiencies such as qi, blood or yang deficiency.
Acupuncture has the great advantage of being able to influence bodily functions quite directly via the nervous system.
Acupuncture and Chinese medicinal therapy are therefore the ideal combination for me.
